Peninsula educators Patricia Morrissey, Ed.D. and Carolyn Compton, Ph.D. found it difficult finding an organization that could provide their special needs elementary school students with the support and instruction that they needed to succeed academically — and in life.
So, they started their own, and in 1982 the Morrissey-Compton Educational Center was born.
That idea became CHALLENGE SCHOOL. Watch the video here.
Today, the Morrissey-Compton Educational Center is a premium provider of diagnostic, therapy, tutoring and advocacy services for children and adults with learning challenges.
