LUNCH & LEARN is back! Our Parent Education webinar series features presentations on a variety of topics, ranging from the fields of education, mental health, and speech & language. The presentations are scheduled for 12noon-12:45. The presentations are about 30 minutes in length followed by 15 minutes of Q&A.

The Parent-Teacher Partnership: Addressing Anxiety in the Classrom

This presentation will focus on how caregivers can work with their child’s school team to address their anxiety in the classroom. An introduction to the school’s tiered system of supports will be provided, so that caregivers can understand the different type of staff available for partnership. Practical information on the steps involved in the collaboration process, how to approach anxiety as a team, and different strategies for supporting anxious students will be discussed.
