with Ariel Marrero, Psy.D., CTRP-C
This presentation will focus on how caregivers can work with their child’s school team to address their anxiety in the classroom. An introduction to the school’s tiered system of supports will be provided, so that caregivers can understand the different type of staff available for partnership. Practical information on the steps involved in the collaboration process, how to approach anxiety as a team, and different strategies for supporting anxious students will be discussed.
I’ve learned so much and continue to learn from taking the workshops, and I appreciate that they are free, it really makes a difference for those of us who are struggling financially.
Your parent education classes really helped me understand my child’s challenges and how to advocate for him.
