Our Mission

To empower those with learning, behavioral, and social-emotional challenges to succeed throughout their educational journey. In a supportive environment, Morrissey-Compton, a non-profit provides the highest quality diagnostic, intervention, and treatment services through innovative programs with scholarship opportunities.

An Important Message from Executive Director, Dr. John Brentar:

We are deeply saddened by the shootings in our home community of Half Moon Bay and in Monterey Park in Southern California. We extend our condolences to our friends and families in Half Moon Bay and in Monterey Park who have lost loved ones, were injured, or traumatized by these senseless crimes. We support the efforts of individuals and groups working to prevent gun violence and we are committed to help individuals in distress. For people who are struggling in the aftermath of the shootings in Half Moon Bay and Monterey Park, we recommend you speak to someone about your feelings and experiences. If you need support, we encourage you to access resources, such as Morrissey-Compton and other community-based mental health clinics, counselors, and/or clergy.
