In a supportive environment, Morrissey-Compton, a non-profit provides the highest quality diagnostic, intervention, and treatment services through innovative programs with scholarship opportunities.

An Important Message from Executive Director, Dr. John Brentar:

We are deeply saddened by the shootings in our home community of Half Moon Bay and in Monterey Park in Southern California. We extend our condolences to our friends and families in Half Moon Bay and in Monterey Park who have lost loved ones, were injured, or traumatized by these senseless crimes. We support the efforts of individuals and groups working to prevent gun violence and we are committed to help individuals in distress. For people who are struggling in the aftermath of the shootings in Half Moon Bay and Monterey Park, we recommend you speak to someone about your feelings and experiences. If you need support, we encourage you to access resources, such as Morrissey-Compton and other community-based mental health clinics, counselors, and/or clergy. It may be a new year, but at the core we are remaining the same.

We have the same commitment to empowering and equipping neurodiverse individuals throughout the Bay Area, with the skills and confidence needed to succeed both in and out of the classroom.

We have the same gratitude for all the families and individuals we have had the privilege to empower and equip these past 40 years.

Our New Year's Resolution?

To adapt and continuously rise to the mental health and learning needs of those around us by expanding our impact through the generous support of our community.
